In 1926 RSS got one Brass Drum on loan and Swayamsevakas took out the rout march to its strokes .They wanted their own Band platoon but had no funds .Sri Buti , a landlord of Nagpur used to hold Brahmabhoj at his place . Swayamsevakas went there , collected the Dakshina . Thus the First Bugle was purchased .Slowly other instruments were added .The Indian Navy uses as many as Forty patriotic Compositions prepared by RSS men ,in their Navy Band and played them on their Brass Band .In 1982 , at the inauguration of Ninth Asian Games in New Delhi , the Indian Navy Band played Shivaraj , one of the compositions of RSS in Mand Bhoop Raag
