In 1945, the Allied Forces of World War II indicted, prosecuted and convicted Nazi government officials for war crimes. In Count III(j) of the Indictment, one of the war crimes was “Germanization of occupied territories. The irony is that America had taken part in this prosecution of Nazi government officials for the same acts that they had done against subjects of the Hawaiian Kingdom. The land of the free and the home of the brave? One mans freedom is another mans slavery. Justice has not yet been served.
