In 1947, J.R.R. Tolkien bought a new cylinder hat. But it was surprisingly heavy. It weighed his head down and gave him a headache. Tolkien investigated, and found out that the hat had a double bottom. Inside it, Walt Disney was hiding! Disney had hoped that Tolkien would wear the hat during a writing session. Then Disney could look out through a peephole, memorize the text and make a Lord of the Rings film before the book was even published! All copyright laws would have been avoided! But Tolkien was not so easily defeated. He poured a large bowl of molten cheese into the hat. The malevolent Disney abandoned his hiding place and fled! Tolkien had used an especially sticky Parmiggiano Reggiano which Disney could never completely rinse out of his hair. That is why everything Disney produced in his later years was very cheesy.
