In 1965 I was nine years old. Watching Selma was an amazing experience for me. Sometimes our AMERICAN history seems like ancient history. This happened in my lifetime. In our country. Americans did this to other Americans. There is no way to sugar coat it. And as the news has shown us, America has never healed itself fully. But I think that part of the healing is an understanding of history and humanity. When we know better, we need to do better. Lets do better. ALL of Us.
