In 1966 A black man out of the studio recordings of R&B (he was on the Isley Brothers Testify 45, and later Little Richards I Dont Know What You Got) exploded on the scene of Rock and Roll and rocked guitar like no one ever had and perhaps never will again: James Marshall Hendrix. His Hey Joe made number 6 on the UK Top of the Pops. His version of Dylans All Along the Watchtower is seminal. His Voodoo Chile at Woodstock in 69 dominated that landmark festival. Many years later a Korean woman who prefers to go by the name of Luna Gayageum (Gayageum is actually the name of the traditional instrument she plays) did this amazing version. Posted it before but wanted to say something about it.
