In 1969. In a land far far away. In a State far far away. In a city far far away. On a beach not so far away. A Chequerboard TV documentary crew from The Australian Broadcasting Commission approached a young chap on the street who theyd heard knew the whereabouts of all the haunts and hideouts of the growing hippy movement in the redneck city of Darwin in Australias Northern Territory. They asked the, only turned 20, young chap, if he and the others would be prepared to appear in a television documentary. The chap and some of the other said yes. They also asked the young chap to play the music for the shows intro, which he did, and that was followed by a number of interviews which the young chap gave, along with other Darwin hippies. The show was aired nationwide in March of 1970. After its showing, a great furore occurred in a town just south of Sydney, and other places, concerning the show itself, and the comments the young chap had made. But I dont know, he seems a likeable sort of fellow, regardless of the shit singing, shit guitar playing, and shit battered old harmonica. I wonder whatever happened to him ? https://youtube/watch?v=1XQBha4hpKc&feature=youtu.be
