In 1974 I did a documentary with Georgia Educational Television with Anthropology Professor, Harris Mobley. We recorded 13 hours of video with the children and grandchildren of slaves in eastern Liberty County. Many of these stories were stories I heard as a boy growing up on the coast. We shot roads, the shrimp docks, shrimp processing, incoming boats and many other scenes of the Georgia coast, circa 1970s. 13 hours was condensed into an hour presentation and shown on GET Network, and not seen since. We have searched for this video for years, as its priceless contribution to history could be lost forever. If there is anyone who may assist in locating this, we would be eternally grateful.
