In 1975 the Australian Navy estimated it would last 11 minutes against the Indonesian navy. If ever we get into a war with Indonesia, the chance of us being backed up by big brother are zero, he will always do what is in his interest. We are outnumbered and under equipped by 10 to 1. By the time The UN debates the issue our neglected defence force will have been smashed . Big battalions will always beat small battalions. Unless we conscript every male and female between the ages of 18 to 20, an armed force of at least a million souls and equip them to make us a nut too hard to crack.
