In 1977, my mother was sentenced to prison 15-25........ It was the worst thing in my life, being separated from our mother......In 1978, after having a tough experience in one foster home, my 2 year-old sister, Ebony Chisholm and I were moved to Indianapolis to be closer to our mother and to live with our new foster parents, The Black Brady Bunch...... also known as the Moyes! Lol....there I learned so much; frying chicken, how to ride a bike, the puberty book ( LaLa& CoCo yall remember that? Lol), my intro to church, how to jone, snow sledding, scrabble, my brother, Ernest Moye Jrs insight on taking a whipping vs punishment so we could play kickball, etc.... My foster parents have been a standard that I have always wanted to live by.... They were the very best thing next to actually being with our biological mom....Well today is my foster mothers birthday! Essie May Moye, happy birthday!! We love you!! And maybe today I will get to see you? Lol Oh an PS- James 5:26 says that the prayers of the righteous availeth much....my mother only served 5 years. She was released without any real reason......
