In 1989 I joined a Cub Scout Pack as their treasurer. That fall the Webelo Scouts did not have a leader to go no their Camporee so I volunteered to go so they would not miss our. I purchased a Coleman sleeping bag and that sleeping bag has been the only one that I had used in warm and freezing cold weather for 24 years until just last year my daughters dog chewed it up. Believing it was toast it was thrown into the trash. Someone dug it out and took it to where she works and sewed a new flannel outside onto the inside panel and the stuffing that still exhisted. She also added some stuffing to make it more warm in the winter months. I was still believing that I would have to buy a new sleeping bag when we go on our trip to Shiloh at the end of the month. Well the other day after I got home from work my wonderful wife came home and presented me with my repaired and improved sleeping bag. It is still reversible and I just love it.
