In 1990 I lived in Bradenton Florida over 2 years, then New York City for couple of years, enjoying the upper eastside of New York City in 1993-94 before going to Florida for the next 15 years...I was enjoying the beauty of NY and its Central Park, standing at night on 64th street and Lexington watching South and enjoying the lighting of the avenue like a heaven on earth...the night life in NY is an education for whoever never seen a night life in his life...going to Soho downtown on West Broadway and seeing the restaurants one next to each other is like a food tasting drinking show with its beautiful decoration...during the day, walking on 5th avenue upper east side on 56th street and 5th avenue enjoying the beauty of the boutiques, entering Henry Bendel and having a coffee or a drink on the little café overviewing people walking on the street is like an education of civilization, thinking to myself, why 60% of the Tunisian people are not clean in their mind to keep their streets clean like these...Tunisian people are searching for a civilization and with all due respect, most of them do not know the meaning of it...the hatred and criticism among themselves, the cynicism and wrong behavior is something I never seen in my life; because I lived more than half of my age in US, something I cant understand even though my optimism to pass my energy to build this country is beyond explanation...my sadness for my country is hidden by my enthusiasm of building it...
