In 1998 Andrew Wakefield, a doctor from the UK falsified a study suggesting the MMR vaccination was a major cause of autism. His licenses was revoked for unethical fraud. Autism tends to show up when a child becomes a toddler and his fake study became a modern myth throughout Europe and some parts of the United States. Many sites on the Internet are not reliable but I do believe WebMD will give you accurate information about vaccinations. It is so important to research the facts and not believe everything you hear or read on the Internet:)
