In 2 days my baby will be 20 years old. What a milestone? Alex Lewis has made me happy, sad, mad, terrified, proud, relieved, emotional, angry, but above all those emotions, she has given me the opportunity to embrace the joy of being her Mama. I am an advocate for adoption and with the relationship of my daughter and myself I find that we are so blessed. We have so many great stories and pictures of the love we have as a family. I love my little girl (who always loved a ball better than a doll) now as much as the day she was born. Biological parents who for whatever reasons give their children to people who really want them are the givers of unconditional love! They make an ultimate sacrifice for the sake of another.
