In 2000, Barbados issued a set of 14 stamps titled THE PRIDE OF BARBADOS. The stamps depict Cricket Player Sir Conrad Hunte, sugarcane harvest, lighthouse, Jewish Synagogue, Harrison Cave, Sunbury House, Bethel Methodist Church, Wildlife reserve, gold course, and Grantley Adams Intl Airport. The 70c depicting the Bridgetown Port had a reversed design and the boo-boo was spotted almost immediately after issuance, the stamp was withdrawn and was later replaced by a correct version (shown here). A new printing of the widely used 10c sugarcane harvest was issued in 2002 and bears that date at the bottom instead of “2000” like all the other stamps; due to heavy postal use the 10c was reissued again in 2004 with that date at the bottom (not pictured here).
