In 2000, I told my husband I was going to be buying land on North Caicos in the Turks & Caicos Islands after a girlfriend of mine came back and told me she bought a plot and there was one left. He wasnt feeling it. At first. In 2001, he started feeling it. LOL We bought a quarter acre of land about 300 yards from the beach. Its too expensive to build there (cheaper to buy, actually), so it just sits, and every now and then we go stare at it. Weird, I know. But it REALLY does look like this. Unspoiled and simply beautiful. And while my dream of building a home has turned into another dream entirely, it really IS dreamy there… #sigh
