In 2002, we went on the Worlds Longest Yard Sale, a 450 mile long sale starting in Gladsden Alabama. We filled up our Blazer with all kinds of neat stuff. The first day we only made eight miles of the 450 miles. I said we would have to really move on the next day if we were going to make all 450 miles. The next day we made a whopping 75 miles. Too many places to stop and things to see. So, we headed home. As we were cruising down the highway, we saw a turn off for Hurricane Mills. Thats where Loretta Lynn and Moony lived. We turned off and went exploring. At the big house where Loretta lived, we took the tour. A fantastic house. We really enjoyed the tour. It just so happened that Loretta and her Daughter were having a Yard sale . Loretta was not there but her daughter was giving the sale. The little figurine you see is used to put a scrubber in the back and is about 6 inches tall. But what is unusual is on the bottom is a piece of tape with the initials LL and the price $4,95. This belonged to Loretta and Neva bought it. It sits above our sink now.
