This massive marijuana stash weighed in at 789 grams, and was located in a remote part of China in a tomb. A research paper in the Journal of Experimental Botany says that the stash was almost definitely used for psychoactive purposes, rather than for fabric and clothing. This isnt the first time marijuana has been found in large quantities. Remnants of cannabis have been found in ancient Egypt, and ancient others such as the Greek Herodotus have written about the substance. The dry conditions in the tomb acted as a preservative, allowing a team of scientists to analyse the marijuana.
