In 2008 my dad was diagnosed with Lung Cancer and told he had a year and a half to live. This is a new article about how he has LIVED since then. I have never been more hopeful or more proud of anyone. My heart soared like an eagle when I read the following... Kallish’s journey from that point has taken unexpected turns, including 18,000 feet up Mount Everest to base camp in 2011 and, more recently, into a plan for a sky dive in New Zealand. Most important, “I’ve seen my daughter married. I’ve seen my grandkids,” two so far, said Kallish, now 66 and recently retired from a career running a home improvement business.
