In 2012 the NSW government enacted a series of amendments to the Workers Compensation System that have caused a lot of pain and heartache for injured workers across the state. The NSW government has recently announced a limited review of these amendments and is calling for written submissions. The CFMEU will be lodging written submissions on behalf of our members but we need your help. If you or a family member have been affected by the changes now is the chance to tell your story. Share your story and help us show the NSW government the human cost of these changes. Economics are not everything, it is time to show NSW government the people that their laws are hurting. All names can be kept confidential. Please contact the legal department before 29 May 2014 on (02) 9749 0480 and tell us your story. Additionally, if you wish to make your own submissions to the review please go to haveyoursay.nsw.gov.au/consultations/statutory-review-/?date=2014-05-08 and tell the NSW government your story. All submissions are confidential.”
