In 2013 Los Angeles based filmmaker Gene Massey and I took a memorable journey around India and were privileged to see unparalleled actions of love and selfless service taking place around the remotest corner of this sacred land. It is our great good fortune that in the process we met and interviewed some incredible human beings, who are the pillars of our society and whose lives is a saga of selfless service. We met this remarkable and endearing former Supreme court Judge - Justice Iyer at his residence in Kerala. Though 99 at the time, he readily agreed to an interview when he heard that we wanted his views on Swami. He came into the room with the help of an assistant. I felt sorry that we had troubled him.. But when he began speaking about Swami, his eyes lit and he spoke with the enthusiasm of a little boy. Awarded the Padma Vibhushan, Justice Iyer was a highly respected figure in the Justice system of India and considered the Bishma Pitama of the Judiciary world for his fearless, principled and fair stance.
