In 2013, the day I unsealed my adoption records in Fort Worth, I could not make myself enter the courtroom. I sat on the bench outside the room, because I knew that when I went in, it would change everything. After a bit, a very nice lady came and led me in. The judge was a very kindly man who gently talked me through the process. After the entire process was complete I asked about the lady who led me into the courtroom. I described her, but no one knew anyone at the courthouse who fit that description. I never could find her to thank her. September 16, 2013 Laura Vickers and I began a beautiful relationship after reconnecting. It was a year filled with magic and adventure. September 16, 2014, Laura slipped away quietly after complications from a brain surgery. Another angel, who had passed through my life. That day another angel took over. If Vicki Lynn had not been there, I would not have made it. Every day she is my biggest encourager to keep working and getting my business off the ground and never give up that dream. She is such a beautiful, wonderful lady. I love the time we spend together. The thought of her gives me the energy to get up and try again every minute of every day.
