In 2015, PLC will celebrate its centenary. As we look back on the schools rich history and achievements of our alumni, we also need to look forward and ask how do we best prepare young women for the challenges they face in the future? This is why we plan to redevelop and rebuild our Senior School. Scheduled to take place between now and early 2016, the construction will take place across four stages to allow us to accommodate students and classes with minimum disruption. The new Senior School will be an open collaborative learning environment that deliberately mirrors todays workplace and tertiary institutions. It will encourage girls to be more independent, self-directed learners - valuable skills that will ensure a smooth transition to tertiary study, the workforce and life beyond PLC. - Beth Blackwood
