In 2015 we need change in the UK MAs scene, we need to get away from the hero worship cults and parasitic businesses and gravitate to respect and independence. We dont need anyone running our lives or Dojos for us, we can manage by ourselves thank you. If you want our respect - earn it. You can be whatever Dan you like, whatever champion you like, but what really counts is what are you contributing to the MAs now? With loads of Independent Clubs the standard can drop or grow, its our choice. This year we need to stop arguing, baiting and whingeing, use FB for the positive and actually do something. I will be pointing to everything thats good in the martial arts, I will start writing again and putting it into blogs and social media with bags of advice. Lets work together, earn each others respect, train for a high standard in our martial arts, in the administration and professionalism in our clubs and move the Martial Arts forwards and upwards together. The next few months will be crucial and information and knowledge will be our fuel.
