In 2015 we will have many hard battles ahead of us in regards to the existence of wolves in Idaho and Montana and the rest of the lower 48 states . We will have to fight like hell to make sure that the wolves of Wyoming and the Great Lake States remain protected under the Endangered Species Act. In 2015 there will be an attempt by Congress and the U.S. Senate to push through legislation that will do the following : Remove the Wolf from being a Federal Endangered Species. Attack and weaken the Wilderness Act of 1964 Give individual states the right to manage what plant and animal species belong on their own Endangered List Approve the Keystone Pipeline Open up the Arctic Nature Preserve to OIL exploration Remove Grizzly Bears from the Endangered Species Act Not protect the rare Canadian Lynx in the lower 48 states Not place the 300 wolverines that remain in this country on the Endangered list Sell off BIG chunks of our National Parks and U.S. Forest and Wilderness Areas to Mining , Logging and Oil Companies Sell or lease more public land for grazing rights, and Fracking These are just a few of the things the new republican Congress and Senate have PROMISED that they will do. But here is one thing that we together from all over this country can do until the 2016 elections and that is to call your U.S. Democrat Senator and tell them to Filibuster any and all bills that attack any of the above mentioned things. The republicans blocked 98% of all legislation brought to the Senate Floor the past two years, so urge your Democratic U.S.. Senator to return the favor. We can do this along with our good Senators who believe as we do , that our wilderness and wildlife and National Parks should remain intact for all to enjoy, because once all of it is gone, there will be no bringing it back. Once the rivers and lakes are polluted it will take many years for them to be clean again. And once the Grizzly, Wolves , Wild horses, Bison, Wolverines and other fragile populations of our Wild Animals are gone , it will be for good. So in 2015 , be informed and stay that way , learn and pay attention as much as you can. Follow sites Like Warriors and others and the big advocacy groups and help whenever you can, but the best and fastest thing that we can do is to call or e-mail the President and the Democrat U.S. Senator and tell them to Protect our Wildlife and Wilderness . Do not visit sites like this just to look at pretty photos only, when you see an article posted it is because they are posted as factual informative and warning articles. This needs to be done by many ,many of us. Know your facts because knowledge is the strongest weapon that one can posses .
