In 3 John 2 the bible says, “Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.” The Apostle John clearly desired that his friend Gaius live a healthy life. We need to be held accountable for how well we are managing our health. Our culture is so confused about our physical bodies that we can easily get off track when it comes to the physical side of life. When it comes to the body and health, we seem to go from one extreme to the other. Some people get obsessed with their bodies and in certain cases seem to worship their health. The other extreme is that people do nothing for their bodies and they allow their health to disintegrate. Neither of these two extremes is pleasing to the creator of your physical body!
