In 3 short weeks our dear friend Abi is leaving to spend a year in Niger, West Africa, working with long-term missionaries Neal and Danette Childs at Vie Abondante (Abundant Life) in the capital city of Niamey. She will fill the need of a bookkeeper/accountant for both the overall ministry as well as at their French Primary School. She may also help teach one of the Kindergarten classes in French! The Lord has truly prepared this place for her. It fits her so well, combining so many of her passions - people, culture, and language - with her marketplace skills in finance and accounting. She will be able to use both her French and Arabic language proficiencies while shes there, and support the work of the Childs family in bringing the Gospel to a land where many people have never before heard the name of Jesus. We will miss her tremendously but also are incredibly confident that God has amazing things for her in this season in Niger. Elephants are known for their memory and we thought this elephant wishing bracelet is a fabulous way to carry Abi with you and remind you to pray for her while she is gone.
