In 4 hours and 56 minutes we will find out whether or not Ivy has been accepted into the University of Pennsylvania as a psychology major. The acceptance rate is 8%. She has worked so hard during her years in school, often staying awake till 2 am to finish her assignments after running cross country and track meets away from home. She has gladly given up so much of her free time to perform her duties as class president; member of yearbook and prom committee. She has maintained an average GPA of 97 throughout high school while taking the most difficult classes offered, including all duel enrollment college level classes offered at her school. She raised money so that she could travel to Europe. She maintained a summer job at Arlos and now at Elk Mountain. All the while, she finds time to pursue her hobbies of drawing, working out, snowboarding, reading and especially baking goodies from scratch for all her friends and family: cheesecakes, breads and cinnamon buns :) But one of the most outstanding things about Ivy is really her character, integrity and perseverance. Of all the people I have ever met, I trust her the most. She has a strong conscience; is fair, rational,kind and possesses wisdom and good judgement. She is determined, unstoppable and seeks to accomplish great things; not for herself, but because she truly wants to contribute to the betterment of humanity. And the icing on the cake is that Ivy is fun....and funny!! She is always up for an adventure, a challenge, an interesting discussion or debate about any topic; she is both witty and goofy and makes me laugh all the time :D Ivy: Heres to good luck at getting accepted into UPenn and being part of the Ivy League for real! You will really be a great asset to the school. I just hope that they were able to see that through the application essays and letters of recommendation. But if not, there is always a chance for graduate school at UPenn and I am sure you will do very well wherever you attend school. I am so proud of you. You are amazing!! Love, Mamou oxoxox
