In 6 days, as a nation we will decide the future of our nation. Will we be a constitutional republic where the ultimate power resides with the people and the several states, or will we be a nation where authority is fashioned and imposed from an ever expanding central source of power. The 4th estate in America, once considered to be the free press, has morphed into the huge phalanx of federal agencies that cut down the individual freedoms once guaranteed to the governed. I believe in decentralized power. I believe that the federal government was created by the states, as representatives of the people, and not the other way around. I will vote next Tuesday. I will vote for those who I deem faithful to this fundamental principle. If my viewpoint should not prevail, I will still continue my personal battle against our nations slide into the black hole of Washington uber control. If my side prevails, I will do the same.
