In A Glance To dance and to sway, in an everlasting gaze; under golden sunset, of a late Sunday evening. Hosting blazing clouds, without smoky haze; a moment in a glance, time within perceiving. Stored away, a memory, of such loving grace; a touch of the eyes, emotional energy exchanged. Seeing what I see, as a reflection of your face; sunset in your hair, a moment, not even arranged. A flirtatious wink, or maybe something in the eye; a slight brush of the cheek, anticipation of a kiss. Smiling eyes betray desire, upon dangerous sigh; we captured a vivid memory, in a moment of bliss. You giggled and swayed, when told I dont dance; dragging me away, dont worry, you said, Ill lead. I said, what the hell, and jumped up at the chance; because if this works, this moment is all we need. I got carried right away, all the way into the night; such a passionate dance, to keep within my heart. It was right on time, this memory kept so right; not quite as easy, when our moment came to part. Im glad I have a memory, of this very lovely day; to cherish within my soul, this love I once knew.
