In America, were indoctrinated to believe that unbridled capitalism is not only the best economic system; its the only one that works. If you can read, you should have the ability to see that this is obviously false. I took Prof. Gohmanns Capitalism and Economic Freedom class. I was given a copy of Ayn Rands Atlas Shrugged, which was required reading, and I read it. (Ayn Rand is a nut, btw.) Ill keep this as short as possible: more classes like this one are bad for UofL and the CoB. This class was not about understanding how capitalism works, or studying it alongside other economic systems, or God forbid, critiquing capitalism. It was about why capitalism is the best, and any negative byproduct of capitalism is due to government intervention, socialism, or crony capitalism (crony capitalism being something that definitely occurs, but a problem that almost magically sorts itself out - not a reason for govt interference, of course). Im a proud UofL graduate. That pride will absolutely diminish if UofL takes this money and it will greatly affect UofLs credibility as an institute of higher learning, at least in my book. kycir.org/2014/12/09/university-of-louisville-set-to-get-millions-from-charles-koch-foundation-and-papa-johns-ceo/
