In April, I posted about losing my first Bullmastiff, Dandelion. At the time, I was unable to get her ashes returned to me after she was cremated and was overwhelmed with grief because I felt like I had nothing to hold on to. Little did I know, my sister was behind the scenes working her magic. On Christmas Day, she presented me with this oil painting (on the right) that she had painted for me. I believe it captures my beautiful girl perfectly. (The original photo is on the left). This painting will forever hang above the fireplace and Dandelion will forever be in my heart!
