In April of 1983, I met the love of my life. Miriam and I met through letters, thru a mutual friend. What a beauty!!! Then and no! She was a senior at Southwest Bapt Unversity in Bolivar, Mo at the time. Her home, however, was in Grand Forks, ND! I invited her to our home in Russellville, AR for her Spring Break and I was shocked when she said YES! lol I saw her again in May when she graduated from college. At that point I met her family and we all went back up to ND for the week. Before the end of the week I proposed. CRAZY, I KNOW! She did not say "YES" however, at that point. That came on our NEXT meeting, and last meeting before we actually go married, on June 9, 1984 in Grand Forks! There was nothing usual about how we met or our "courtship". And God has blessed us with 29 years of love and life together and 2 wonderful blessings in Alicia and Chris! What an AMAZING ride with a tremendous woman of faith, courag, and strength! I love you Miriam and thank God daly for you!!!
