In August of 2013 a middle school began the year without student rosters. For DAYS students sat in the auditorium. The second reporting period for report cards contained the WRONG grades. A student was HIT by a car after she was sent home for uniform compliance, the mother NEVER contacted by administrators. Yet nothing happens. Why? Is it because the school is in Watts? I am so tired of the accountability rhetoric. When do this parents and kids get competence? When do they get a principal that understands community and can work with stakeholders. We need help.
