In Belgium, a widow was found to have slept with the decomposing body of her husband for 433 days (1 year, 2 months and 6 days) before the authorities found the remains. She claims to have been so stricken by grief that she failed to report the death (natural causes), and continued to live with him in her house. The body was found by the landlord after she was evicted, partially mummified, and no unusual smells were reported to have been coming from the residence. According to reports, the body had mummified in the bed, and the internal organs had melted and liquefied. What do you think about the whole thing?
