In C.S. Lewis’ book The Screwtape Letters he says we make two, yet opposite errors when it come to the existence of evil and the demonic world. We either disbelieve in their existence (at least to some existent) therefore dropping our guard, concerning spiritual warfare against principalities and power or we have an unhealthy interest in demons and obsess about ever little activity. I believe as Christians we should avoid both extremes.
