A 1/2 inch of rain is possible, with mainly cloudy skies throughout the day. *High Temp - 43° *Low Temp - 39° *Chance of Rain - 80% *Winds - 10-20mph •Thursday, March 20 (Spring Begins) - Slightly above average temperatures will prevail along with mostly sunny skies, due to high pressure building into the area. *High Temp - 56° *Low Temp - 35° *Winds - 10-20mph •Friday, March 21 - High pressure is mostly in control throughout the day. Average temperatures expected, with sunny skies. More clouds build into the area ahead of a cold front in the evening, which a slight chance at a few rain showers. *High Temp - 51° *Low Temp - 38° *Chance of PM Rain - 30% *Winds - 5mph •Saturday, March 22 - Chance for rain showers during the first half of the day ahead of the cold front, with average daytime temperatures. The cold front will pass through the area late in the evening. It should remain mostly cloudy throughout the day. *High Temp - 55° *Low Temp - 35° *Chance of Rain - 50% *Winds - Very light in the morning, then 10-15mph through the afternoon and evening. •Sunday, March 23 - Below average temperatures are expected, with mostly sunny skies. Polar high pressure will move into the region Sunday night into Monday. *High Temp - 45° *Low Temp - 25° *Winds - 10-15mph •Monday, March 24 - The polar high pressure system will allow for much colder temperatures. Mostly sunny and breezy conditions will allow for wind chills to fall into the teens. High pressure will shift to the east with the approach of a possible storm system from the west. *High Temp - 35° *Low Temp - 23° *Winds - 15-25mph •Tuesday, March 24 - A #snowstorm will approach from the west giving our area the chance at snow. Details are sketchy as it is 7 days away. Several long range models have picked up on it. There is the chance for a low to high impact winter event, but it is too far out in time to be sure. Models depict a modest-significant snow event (2-4 or 4-8 inches), but that could and probably will change.
