In February of 2011, we opened a thrift store on the north side of Jacksonville in the community known as Oceanway. In our efforts to raise the funds to open a Christian Teen Center for middle and high schools students, our vision quickly became a reality. In September 2011 Generation Next Christian Teen Center Inc. opened its doors for the first time. There were 14 students who attended that first night and attendance hasnt stopped growing since. Currently we have over 250 students who enter the doors each weekend with a total of over 1000 who have attended since we first opened the doors. Without the support from the community, GN would not exist! It is with great appreciation to each and every one of you for supporting the teen center by ways of your donations to the store, shopping at the store or both. The mission of the store has been accomplished and we are very excited about the future of Generation Next and being able to focus on what God has called us to do. We understand how much the store has become a ministry in itself and we are pleased to announce that it has been taken over by a new ministry who are supporters of GN. We ask that you to continue to donate your unwanted items and continue to shop there. Generation Next has set up an new FB page to keep everyone up to date on events hosted by GN. Please go to the new page and like it .... Generation Next Community Events. Thank you so much for keeping Generation Next in your prayers and thank you for planting seeds for us to water for God to Grow!
