In Ferguson, The Opportunist Circles Overhead/ We Should Study Judge Mathis. If we study Judge Mathis, what he is doing will give the community good directions. These are the kind of efforts that are needed around the country. Recently, people came to Ferguson Missouri from around the country for different reason. Many r peoples reasons for supporting the protest are noble in nature. However, some groups aspirations are simply to position themselves in such a way such that they can cipher off, or capitalize upon the people rising up to throw off generational oppression of that cruel and unjust power structure in Ferguson. These people come to exploit the situation, and gain for themselves concessions grant to those people as a result of the attention their actions brought from national media. Nothing will never be the same again. The people must negotiate for themselves. The people should never let these preachers talk for them. They are very selfish and the people will get nothing. Few had any idea that things were so insane in 2014 in Missouri. It seems that the police department in Ferguson has taken the country back in time to 1865, or earlier.The community of Ferguson are rightfully protesting the unfair and oppressive conditions their daily lives are under. They should reason like the Palestinians towards the Israelis; why go through this, the hell, rubber bullets, real bullets, etc., and get nothing out of it but a few Black faces suggested to authorities there by the Clergy, and appointed by the police department, yet nothing really change for the average young African American male? Leaders like Jesse Jackson an others came their to give speeches and to act as negotiators for that community; to get opportunity for their programs, yet he is doing nothing to help the youth of Chicago. I would not listen to him at all. The preachers brought out the big guns. However, if the people of Ferguson allow any of those preachers, and other Super extreme and radical Black doomsday representative negotiate for them, they will get absolutely nothing as a result of their protest. They will find themselves right back protesting in two years, fr the exact same things. They must negotiate for themselves. The slick politicians should be rejected as well. The leadership is right in the people. It is not those wanting to protect their records, but it is those in the street working for change. Those are the real leaders. The United Black Clergy could have agitated with these racist and backward police long ago. But they did absolutely nothing. Why? Because they were brought off. They did not show up, they did nothing for the community until the people became out raged, and took to the street. Now here they come, wanting to speak for the people; wanting to be the go between for the community. I hope the community in Ferguson rejects them; What have Jesse Jackson did for those young Black men in Chicago? How can he tell the people of Ferguson how to address the killing and mayhem in their community, yet can do nothing for those young people in Chicago? I strongly hope the people select their own leadership, reject those Clergy that are out to put their people in positions of authority, and continue to make money for themselves. They should select leaders that were present from the first day. Those are the peoples real leaders; not these people that find the parade (protest) and get in front it. They are not real leaders. They are more so fire fighters in search of the next fire. If nothing happens, if there is no other fire to go to, they go back to the firehouse, and set down. They have no real vision. The real leadership are the people right in your neighborhood that you know. They just need your support.
