In France and Spain...1) wifi is pronouced like wefee, 2) water is typically served at room temperature with no ice unless you ask otherwise, 3) bread is not served with butter, 4) all eggs are brown and are stored on grocery store shelves at room temperature (not refrigerated), 5) waffles, crepes and tortitas (pancakes) are not typically served with maple syrup, 6) most people prefer to eat at a restaurant outside - there are an abundance of restaurants all with outdoor eating options, 7) many homes are not air conditioned, 8) many home a/c thermostats have 3 settings - low, medium, and high - homes and even stores are not kept very cold like in the U.S. - just a few degrees cooler than the outside temperature, 9) motorbikes, vespas, and bicycles are everywhere and are even available for rental on the streets, 10) most people consider recycling a normal part of life, 11) most cars are small or medium sized and run on diesel fuel.
