In His humilliation He was DEPRIVED of jusice. Who can speak of His decendants? For His life was taken from earth. What does this mean? What do you understand. First, It is. Jesus that is being spoken of here. In his humility and submission to His father Justice was denied his and He did not complain. 5 people testified that he was innocent; Pilate, the thief by His side at the cross, Pilates wife Judas, and the ceturion, yet they went ahead with greater shouts, crucify Him, crucify Him. Just to please the people and gain favour from Herod, Pilate released Him to be crucified. There was no one to speak for Him. Actually, I am the one that deserve to die, I committed all the sins, did all the wicked acts, I said all the lie while he spoke all the truths, I did all the stealing while He worked in His fathers shop as a carpenter and prayed to His father for his needs. I did all the lusting and hated much while He loved both the good, the bad and the ugly, yet this time, not by men, His father denied him justice. Even when He cried out, My God, My God why has thou forsaken me? His father hid his face from him and did not answer him. In His humillity, he was denied justice. Last of all, He denied himself jusice. Being so humble, not taking the honour to himself, he left his throne above. Even when the going seemed tough, he denied himself help and deliverance. He said, father not my will but thine. Yes, he denied himself justice, I remember when Peter wanted to help him by making use of his weapon, he refused to be helped, in his words he asked them, dont you know I have the power to call down legions and army from heaven, yet he did not. Then this question, WHY ALL THESE DENIALS? For me, it was for me, for my salvation, for my deliverance, for my victory. Victory over sin, over sickness, over flesh and satan. He conquered all and made me more than a conqueror. In His death, he found me and gave me life, HAS HE FOUND YOU? He died finally, a shameful but victorious death. But he was an end of a decendant. Because He did not give birth, his generation was cut off from this earth. But in heaven he has many brothers, them whose names are on the book of life because they were purchased with his blood. Thank you Jesus for dying for me and my brethren, help us to honour you with all of our lives in Jesus name, amen
