In Honor and Memory of my great grandparents Curtis and Annie Bomar Herrin. Today 101 years ago they married November 23 1913. He was 24 and she was 16. They would write each other and hide their letters on a bee hive and a piece of old plow. Her father didnt want her to marry him because of the Herrins high temper. He told her to not come back home if he beat her over the head with a chair. But they got married in her parents J.H. and Telie Bomars home . Guess he mellowed out. They were married 61 and a half years when he died in1975. I was 4 1/2 . She died in 1990 when I was nearly 19. She was an angel on Earth.
