In Honor of this years MLK Day I would like to highlight a musician and one of his songs that I think illustrates MLKs ideals in todays world. His name is Chadwick Stokes. You may know him from the band DISPATCH, but he has truly become a civil and human rights leader in my eyes. From the founding of Calling All Crows to his progressive lyrics encouraging all of us to take action. I hope you will take a moment to consider listening to a track or two and think about Martin Luther King, Jr. and what you can do to make progress in your own community. I truly believe that change can come if we work community by community, town by town, county by county to make sure that the next generation does not live in a world of such heartbreaking intolerance. Love is love, and as Congressman Keith Ellison says, everybody counts, and everybody matters. So off of his album coming out in February, The Horse Comanche, the song is called Our Lives, Our Time.
