In Isaiah 25 we read something very interesting concerning the feast and the lifting of the veil, these things take place on earth: “6 And in this mountain shall the Lord of Hosts make unto ALL people a FEAST of fat things, a FEAST of wines on the lees, of fat things full of morrow, of wines on the lees well refined. 7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations. 8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it. In verse 6, we read of the feast that the Lord prepares. Then we read the reference to the veil and covering in verse 7. After the feast and upon the consummation of the wedding, the veil and covering was removed from the bride and she was intimate with the groom. Notice also that the veil and covering had been spread over ALL NATIONS. In this passage, I believe, Christ is wedding his bride. And, even though the context is clearly Jewish, the Bride is made up of the redeemed of all nations. Remember that Gentiles are grafted in to Israel and not a separate entity. Gentiles are fellow heirs WITH Israel : This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 3:6
