In Islam we do not raise Muhammad, peace be upon him at the expense of the dignity and stature of the other Messengers of the Creator. We honour and respect all messengers of Allah included the Son of Mary, as well as John the Baptist (Yahya in Arabic), and Zakariya, all three of whom lived in the same place at the same time... calling to the worship of the same God; Allah! The Quran shines light upon the dark passages of the scribes who changed the books to disgrace the other Prophets of God and to clarify the position of the Son of Mary as a guide to the worship of the One Lord. If one points to God it is not befitting to worship the finger which points rather than the Almighty. We believe Allah chose his beloved prophets whom were the best of humankind and Mary who was the best of all women, to support the message....none disgracing the other and none worshipping other than the One Maker!
