In June 1977, Dupont High Class of 1977 held its graduation service. As I walked out of that place, son of the neighborhood drunkard, outcast amongst most, but with my little diploma barely in hand, Im certain I would have been thought of as highly unlikely to succeed - and if they would have let the class vote on who in our school would anybody consider Least Likely to be a New Testament Church Pastor - Im certain I would have been in the running, top of the list! After another busy Sunday here at the church and having my complete existence so tightly intertwined with the great folks I am privileged to pastor - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly - I wanted to say to the Lord and in front of the whole world - I Am So Glad That I Got Saved, And That The Lord Counted Me Faithful, Putting ME Into The Ministry. What I do may seem lowly and simple to some who stand on the outside and stare in, but I AM THRILLED to be what I am. God Bless You Everyone Over Whom I Sit As Pastor Kenny. I love you dearly in the faith and believe sincerely that our best days are just ahead!!
