In June of 2012 We were hit hard by Tropical Storm Debbie. We flooded and lost several of our fish from our pond that over flowed :-( The favorite being a small orange Koi with black along her spine that we had just put in the pond that year. The past two days we have had so much rain that we flooded again. Unbelievably, as we were getting ready to sit down for dinner both Wayne and I saw a splash of orange through the kitchen window! We both rushed to the flooded back yard to find her in about 1 foot of water that had raised from the swamp behind us to the back deck :-) We got out our Koi catching equipment...chicken wire, a cooler and a turkey pan and proceeded to catch her!
