In June you will realize why Chelsea didnt sign a striker in January I dont have a striker and Falcao doesnt have a team Ba is a great lad and our plan of 3 strikers would be incomplete without him, the 2 goals he scored were very important to his value in the market We would extend Etoos contract but he wouldnt Romelu scored more goals at West Brom as the team played around him, I dont want a team built around strikers. I am building this squad keeping Eden in mind (Just after he loaned Lukaku out) This season I dont expect anything from the squad... we aim top 4 in the PL. Next summer we make 1 or 2 signing and sell 1 or 2 players and then we challenge for the title, not now. ~JOSE MOURINHO Who else is excited of a big summer signing? Here are my suggestions (keeping FFP in mind) 1) Ba + cash (around 25) & Falcao switch 2) Torres to Atletico, Alexandre Pato to Chelsea (Pato is currently unsettled at Corinthians due to negative image and lack of playing time) 3) Sell Lukaku (around 30-35) and get Patrick Bamford (currently on loan) (Lukaku is a poacher, he cannot hold play and Chelsea wants strikers who are physical and can dribble and muscle defenders. SO my 3 strikers: Falcao (Can hold play, pass upfield, amazing work rate, world class finishing and headers, can have a full pre season at Chelsea) Pato (Can hold play, long shots, heading, young (22), available for cheap) Patrick Bamford (Can hold play, back to the goal play, excellent passing and agility, English home grown player, young (20), excelling on loan to a Championship club) SUGGEST YOUR 3 strikers!
