In March or April of 2014 I moved into ocala park estates with the passion for horses I had and always wanting one I decided to walk around the block to go pet the horses . Walking up to the fence I seen a little girl and a dog and we started talking and she introduced me to her mother . I told her mom about my passion and she told me I could come to the farm and ride. I was so happy I started crying someone was helping make my dream come true. The next day I went to the barn and was automatically put to work not knowing when I was going to be able to ride . I completely understood that I was going to have to earn the riding privilege. I worked the entire summer cleaning up the barn and feeding horses . I got to ride maybe 2 times at the most for 15 minutes but I didnt complain because being on a horse I was in my happy place I loved just being around them . Soon I started helping out with puppies . During a couple of adoptions Melissa would lie about the age of the dog and I would go to interrupt and say no I thought and she would wink at me and in a way to say just go with it . I was their countless times when she would lie to the adopters . Soon she would start to tell me stories about the things she had done. I finally met her daughter. I spent every day up their cleaning and enjoying the horses but what I thought was a teen out reach program was really a way to get free work . Melissa found out she was pregnant and said if you help me until February I will get you a horse and you can have free board I will pay all financial expenses until then and come February if you ever move you can take the horse with you . Now came the process of finding me a best friend . During that came the marriage and my brother Jacob and I were invited so we thought when you are invited to a wedding it is to enjoy to people being brought together and that is where we were wrong . The dog Cyrus had went to the bathroom in the reception hall and I was told to clean it up though I said no because I wasnt their to work Melissa got upset but left it alone . When the reception was over the kids were made to stay and clean everyones trash. The next week would be the honeymoon . Melissa told me I will pay you to take care of the horses and dogs while Im gone for the week . I got paid 25 for doing dogs plus 5 she owed me for the previous week and 10 for taking care of the horses . While she was gone I was told to do kennels twice a day which was no problem . I also had to take care of two lame horses not having any experience with the horses I still did take care of them and was told I did an amazing job. Come September 1st of 2014 I was surprised with a horse that I came to call Dixie the horse was very lame and unrideable . Melissa knowing that we were supposed to get a rideable horse took on this horse anyway and had my dad sign an adoption contract . She was going to try an make the horse rideable . After finding out the horse wasnt going to be fixed easy she started to find someone who had the time and money to take on this project of a horse . She then had a horse named classy donated to me . Classy became my best friend I got classy on the date of October 10th 2014 . Then is when I was the happiest not knowing Melissa made promises to the original owner. I was never told any of these promises. The week of Christmas break I did barn all by myself wensday night I did barn also before I left to spend Christmas with my mom . It was my weekend off which consisted of Friday Saturday and Sunday but I wouldnt be home until Monday afternoon. When I came home I did barn once again by myself . I was then told I was going to have to do barn again by myself for that week too . I had a problem with that because I felt as if I was being used. Come the date of December 31st 2014 I told Melissa I wanted to board my horse somewhere else because I was being treated very unfairly . Melissa had a problem with that but didnt tell me she did . I went to the barn to go see my bestfriend and she met me at the middle of the road up to the barn to talk to me . I politely asked her if the other girl standing their could leave because I felt uncomfortable talking in front of her so she did. Melissa did nothing but raise her voice at me and I asked her not to and she said im sorry you know how I get and started doing it again finally she turned around and said im not dealing with this goodbye . So I left feeling threatened. The next day I went to go spend quality time with classy and ride her when I got to the barn classy was nowhere insight so I called Melissa very pissed off and asked where classy was and she told me she moved her so yes I raised my voice and said you moved my horse without my permission. And I hung up . I grabbed my things that were at the barn and I left . I made statuses to release the hurt and I started to be harassed. I then told Melissa to leave me alone and she said are you going to delete those childish post and I said it doesnt matter goodbye and she said then it doesnt matter if I continue on and I once again said goodbye and she replied with classy is doing great btw so I said good. Melissa Yost with starting over ranch is a very shady person and is not trust worthy and I dont want what happened to me to happen to anyone else I feel sorry for those poor animals they had a German Shepard that got locked up in a cage all the time and let out maybe once or twice . The absolutely sweet dog dude got beat with a brush by Melissa after he killed a cat I understand it was wrong but she shouldnt have done that to that poor dog . Nikita the beautiful husky mixed got chained to the shed for the time she was here and threatened with a broom everytime she barked . Melissa has no clue what she is talking about with these animals . I witnessed her drag my dog back and forth telling me that was the way to make him walk right on a leash she yanked him by his neck everytime she told me Nikita was dog aggressive and I told her it was territory problems she wasnt dog aggressive she just wanted her space and come to find out Nikita loves other dogs and is now adopted out. I am letting everyone know the true story from what I know happened . If you every encounter Melissa Yost beware of the lieing and dont let your children be over worked and taken advantage of by this cruel woman .
