In May, I received news that shook my foundation like an earthquake, made me weak in my knees. Your father has cancer. With a good prognosis and surgery things were looking up. Then again in July, more news. My father in law was diagnosed with Aml which is a very aggressive leukemia. His stay at Vanderbilt took its toll on us all. But we survived and most importantly so has he. I have received more news this week. The best and the worst. My father in law showed no cancer cells in his last bone marrow test, and he is in remission. Which is the best news ever. My dad had his check up this week and his cancer has came back. Which is the worst news. So its surgery again and then to see whats next. Everyone please continue to keep both of our dads in your prayers.
