In Memory of the loved ones we lost this week and in the past> Mrs. Paul , Mrs. Strickland , Mr. Thurston Bailey, Mr and Mrs Joyner, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kearney, Aunt Dorothy , my mother Faye Driver , my sister Linda Driver, my brother Peyton Jr, my grandparents Mr and Mrs Morton Driver, Charlie Wilder , John and Betty Vollmer , Dot May and her husband ,Jimmy Jeffries , Mr. and Mrs. James Finch , Mr. Morris (he would laugh every time I would say that to him) Wayne Winstead (former mayor) Ralph and Donna Winstead , Mutt Winstead and his wife, Mr and Mrs. Daryll Mitchell , Mr. and Mrs. Will Denton (Ann Mitchell) Mrs. Lucy Cheves , Bobby and Faye Mullen , Henry Mullen , Wayne Brewer, Mr. Bobby Brewer and their sweet mother:)Jennette Mullen and her sweet husband Sam, Mr. Owen Mullen, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Powell , Mrs Bet Alford, Mr Rowland Mullen, Mrs. Hattie Batton, Mr. Edwards, Daryll Floyd,Tom and Bill Batton, C.W. and Minda Bunn along with so many others and lord I just cant remember them all right now but I do know that these awesome people were the backbone of this town and a lot of them paved the way for us. So if I make mention of why we should take care of each other and you think that maybe I am a little old fashion just read the names above and know that I wont let them down. They worked too hard for too long and it should not go in vain. Tom Batton knew every waterline in our town and oh my goodness he was just the sweetest man. Go down to the school and there you will find a ball field named after a Winstead because they gave so much of their time and money. No matter what jobs they worked or where or when you would pass them on the street you saw a smile and they spoke to you. These were our neighbors and our friends and I will not be scared to stay in the town in which I grew up in nor will I die knowing that our younger generations that reside here now will have to tolerate so crime that they cant even walk to the store for a pepsi and a pack of nabs. I dont forget and I know I may not can go it alone but you see I wont be alone so I dont even have to entertain that thought. We have something bigger and stronger than gangs or whatever crime decides to roll up in Bunn please remember there is power is numbers and there is power in the blood!! Pray always it will come to pass if we just believe and we must protect each other and all children. What will your choice be? youtube/watch?v=CW8mm00f_k8
